At Craft Expressions, we believe that creativity is the heartbeat of self-expression and connection. 

My name is Geraldine Birtwistle.  My journey began at the age of 9 when my love of crafting was sparked by receiving a gift of a tapestry kit.

My love for the handmade grew over the years and culminated in the foundation of Whistlestop Arts in 2000. While the dream was born, the timing wasn't quite right for a full-time commitment.

While balancing a career, financial commitments and family life, I dipped my toes into part-time crafting opportunities as a consultant with Close To My Heart, Kazazz and Creative Memories.  

My Creative Memories and Crafty Creations with Geraldine journey commenced with a partnership with 3Rs Creative Craft Retreats, in 2022.

The experiences of providing focused paper crafting Workshops, and being able to offer quality products at competitive prices in my Pop-up Shop, deepened my love for teaching, connection and community building. In April 2024, I decided the time had come to venture beyond consultancy, leave full-time work behind and dedicate myself to the Art of Crafting. Craft Expressions was born!  Taking this exciting leap has enabled me access to more product lines - offering you more by way of choice, quality and style.
